Who doesn’t love new make up? i certainly do but it’s not something I buy very often. I usually buy a few bits from MAC during my annual birthday trip to manchester and I pick up a few bits just before holidays.
I’ve excelled myself in finding a bargain for my holiday haul.
First up was a new foundation, Beth was putting in a boots order and when she told me that the No7 air brush away foundation was down from £16.50 to £6.00 with a further 20% off so total cost for that £4.80, winner. To go with this I ordered the No7 instant radiance under eye concealer. I need a good coverage for those suitcases under my eyes. Again with 20% off I bagged this for £11.20 and because I ordered two things I got a free gift, the kiss and cheek pallet.
I needed to give my make up a good sort out and just before the hols is a good time, so Home bargins trip it to pick up a new bag and whilst I was in there I spotted some profusion gift sets. These are something i normally pick the girls up for Christmas from boots, so I was super happy to find them in HB for a fraction of the price.
I managed to face and eyes kit consisting of a nude eyes pallet, highlight pallet and contour pallet with a RRP of £18.00 I managed to get this for £5.00. I also picked up the mixed metals face and eye pallet for £3.99 usually selling at £12.50.
The profusion isn’t a range I have used before but bought as a gift and when I did a swatch test, the pigment in the colours was really good.
Having spent most of lock down, make up free, I cannot wait to try it all now. Even if it is only for a trip to the supermarket wearing a mask, at least my eyes will stand out. And it goes to show, that if you have a little hunt around you can make a big saving.
My total saving was £35.00
